5 and a half

No its not an anniversary shoot for these two...
Theres a precious baby almost ready to show their face.

I CAN'T WAIT.

If you think these two normally glow on anniversaries well the excitement of having a mini them, its pretty contagious. They are so excited for this baby, there is no denying the love that's between all three of them.

And Im excited to see them more often, and get to make images like these. They make my heart so full.

Ali Comes Home

For those of you that don't know me I have a heart for loving Gods babies.
Like really loving.

My husband and I began foster care this year, and although it IS hard its necessary.
In this journey the Lord has bonded my heart to so many others who have the same passion.
Im thankful for women before me who helped raise that passion up.

This dear friend was called to adoption a year ago.
Her calling to adopt a down syndrome baby led her family on the path to adopting from Russian were they found a beautiful amazing little girl who captivated their heart instantly.

So much transpired with Russia shutting down US adoptions, they grieved so much, their heart still longs for her, but God just a few weeks ago brought this amazing opportunity to them for a newborn girl. It was fast and furious  and only in Gods hand, but Saturday they arrived home to introduce this sweet baby girl to the NEW updated version of the Collins Clan.

I was privileged to sit back and hide,and watch them discover her. She is so well loved.

This family surprised their parents for his 90th.
I was delighted to be a part of this surprise.

What really got me was, how giddy these two were to be surrounded by their "children".

The home was full of stories, their hearts were full.

I believe it was a good birthday, and I got a peek into this sweet home.
